still amsterdam

i so much wanted to go moduradam, a miniarture park, heineken brewery, and wooden clog house. but since schedule was packed, time was running out that we had to catch a nite flight to berlin. therefore we could only book a half-day tour to go around amsterdam city.

pama on the coach.

me and bearbear.

yeap, our travel agent - LINDBERGH. must be a dutch name.

pama posing wiv thousands of bikes.

our turn, at the city of bikes.

supposed to be a close-up. i was too excited to see snow mist. jakun betul.

windmill at background.

and us wiv the windmills lah. lagi mau tanya kah...

followed by a visit to diamond cutting factory. mama's eyes were shiny blinking.

mama's upset look. no diamond home even though diamonds are women's bestfriend.

pama at dam square.

wooo... so thats the end of our tour. we still had ample time to walk around. so bearbear thought of showing me this museumplein park wiv Iamsterdam famous landmark. you know that kind of big block alphabets with I-a-m-s-t-e-r-d-a-m standing in the middle of the park which normally most tourists wouldnt miss a shot? the park is real huge. but i was just unlucky cuz the landmark was under renovation. we headed to van gogh museum (the dutch pronounce it van-hogh). i hav never been artistic cuz i dun hav those kind of cells or genes in my body. so my entry pass was a waste of money. i dunno anything about van gogh's paintings. but basically i can tell you, he became famous after his death. he suffered fr mental illnesses and committed suicide. the bro died soon after him. and van gogh's sis in law devoted herself to get his work recognised. sthg like that larr. ask me!! ask me why i know. i hav an audio guide wiv me. bah!!!

nah, one of the pics taken outside of van gogh museum.

if you wanna know who van gogh is. jeng jeng jeng, thats the van gogh's portrait behind us.

stopped by at this malaysian restaurant again to hav late lunch. papa happy to see chinese cuisine.

met this cute guy at sex museum entrance.

so ppl say, amsterdam is a city of fun cuz tourists fr all kind of places flock there all year round. i wish i'd come back here some time again for the european garden, the keukenhof!! lets pray for it!!

do-ei netherland!!! see ya at berlin!!

the liberal amsterdam

i love amsterdam for its liberality and was amazed at the hustle and bustle of its life.

pama at one of the streets in amsterdam. somewhere near st.christopher inns.

it took about 4 hours to reach amsterdam. 4 hours didnt seem long to me and bearbear. afterall we hadnt met each other for abt 6 months or more.

bumped into a malaysian restaurant. felt so homey. had lunch here!! the waiter is a kl-guy, handsome!!

pama at the dam square.

me and bearbear wiv some bikes. amsterdam is a city of bikes.

a pleasant cruise down the canal. but the cruise operator's name caught my eyes - LOVERS!!

this pic wasnt that clear. look at this open canal bridge. the arched brige opened to let the boats pass through.

on the way to red-light district. cameras not allowed there. so say "cheee-seee" to the cameraman at this quiet street.

cold bearbear soon to become a polar bear. well, he has been staying there more than i did. so his cold resistance is far better than mine.

climax of the story, we went for a sex show. it wasnt erotic. instead it was disgusting. i should hav brought pama there. but since they complained of sleepy and wanted to stay at hostel, me and bearbear went ahead wiv our programme and tried patat. it was very tasty especially to hav it in such a cold weather. yum yum... but sigh, i dun hav pic to show again!!! i really dun get used to bringing camera...

off to frankfurt

this is gonna be a pictorial blog of my travel trips. there is no every bit and detail, but just a collection of some memorable moments i hav had.

so fast reverse to nov 16, 2007, friday at 11:59pm. parents and i were off to frankfurt, germany wiv mh. i din take any pics in the departure hall or inside the aircraft which now i so regret it!! should hav taken at least a pic of uncle kwangmi and auntie who sent us at the airport. thank you so much for the dinner and angpao.

13 hours was horrible. ppl say im petite, ok fine, i thought im always tall. its kinda terrible when i dun hav enough legroom to stretch my legs. pity papa. but i think we were excited, couldnt wait to see my bearbear. played enough sudoku and other kinda stupid lame games. movies were outdated and boring...

reaching frankfurt at 5:37 morning, german time. airport in the german language is FLUGHAFEN. the germans prounounce FLU-HA-FEN. i should hav asked them the meaning of 'fen'. btw, i think malaysians can really consider learning the german language cuz pronunciation is almost the same as bahasa melayu. just that theirs is at a faster speed rate.

on a transit train to terminal 2. look at little gal at the back. she was on the same flight wiv us.

i gotta say this, bearbear was staying at his friend's, christianto house at russelsheim (i hope i got this correct) the nite before we reached. so nice of his friend to accompany him to flughafen. wished to do french kiss wiv him. but pama were there. this guy din even hug me!! but i like the way he smells my hair, the way his fingers run through my hair... oh, i fell in love again!!! *im trying to be sentimental ok*

meet christianto fr indonesia who studied in germany since 14 or 15. bearbear's ex-colleague. he speaks fluent german ok.

i thought the weather towards the end of autumn should be ok. din expect it to be that cold. the wind was strong. it was about 2 degrees celcius. freezing!!!

in front of the EU central bank.

mama in bearbear's jacket while papa was wearing mama's trench coat. so cute!!

our train to amsterdam was at 9.30 am. so we went for a walk at frankfurt city. pama couldnt take the cold. so it ended up mama was wearing bearbear's jacket and papa was wearing ladies coat. funny.

just dun bother looking at my papa, he doesnt look good in that trench coat at all...
